Centennial 4th of July Celebration
Bellaire Town Square
Parade starts at 9:30 am and the festival is 10 am – 1 pm. Enjoy carnival games, a petting zoo, rock wall inflatables and much more. There will be entertainment by Johnny Dyson and the Bank Notes Band and Ezra Charles and the Works. Admission to the festival is free; Carnival games and food are an additional cost.

4th of July Parade, Downtown Galveston
Don't miss the annual Fourth of July Parade. The parade begins at 10am at the Galveston Railroad Museum on 25th Street, heading south and winding its way through historic downtown Galveston, from Post Office Street to 21st Street, north on 21st Street to Strand and then west on Strand to 25th Street. Join us along the parade route to celebrate with local civic organizations and families, and salute those who have ensured our nation's freedom!

4th of July Fireworks
Don't miss the annual Fourth of July Fireworks Display, a 20 minute fireworks spectacular over Galveston Island's beach to commemorate the 4th of July, at 9:15pm. The event will take place at 37th & Seawall Boulevard.

Freedom Over Texas
This popular July 4th Celebration is from 4 pm to 10 pm at Eleanor Tinsley Park at Buffalo Bayou. Admission is $8 for adults, kids 10 and under are free. The festivities include four stages of music that will keep toes tapping with the diverse musical sounds of today's America, - country, pop, Latino, jazz, adult contemporary, classic rock and rhythm & blues.
A Star Spangled Salute
This very special July 4th event starts at 8 pm at Miller Outdoor Theater in Hermann Park. It features the Houston Symphony’s performance of Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” with cannons that kicking off a spectacular fireworks display. This is a free event.
Children’s Museum “Stars & Stripes Celebration”
Join the Children's Museum of Houston from 10 am – 6 pm as they throw a party for the nation at their “Stars and Stripes Celebration!” They will have various patriotic activities, as well as a special rocket salute for our wonderful country.
All-day activities include:
· Independence Day Fireworks: The 4th of July is a perfect day to celebrate with fireworks. Stop by and make pretend fireworks that you can play with any day!
· Stars and Stripes Patriotic Artwork: Design your very own red, white and blue creation to take home!
· Patriotic Star Decorations: Each of the 50 stars on the flag represents each state that belongs to the United States. Make a star-studded decoration to celebrate the nation.
· Eagle Decoration: Did you know that the bald eagle is the only eagle unique to North America? Celebrate our national bird by decorating a bald eagle of your own!
Special performances:
21-Balloon Rocket Salute: Our national salute is a 21-gun salute. We will tell our country “Happy Birthday” with a not-so-traditional 21 balloon rocket salute instead!

Allen Oldies Band: What can be more American than rock-and-roll? Stop by and get your groove on with this terrific band!

Sam Houston Race Park
Enjoy Independence Day with the annual July 4th Celebration at The Park. The All-American celebration will feature live Quarter Horse racing beginning at 5:00 p.m., live entertainment at The Showgrounds, family activities and more. Guests are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for The Park’s food drive benefiting the Houston Food Bank (www.houstonfoodbank.org). Immediately following live racing events, The Park will host one of Houston’s largest and most patriotic fireworks displays in town. Fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.
The party continues on Sunday, July 6 with the Vans Warped Tour taking place in the West Lot of The Park. Vans Warped Tour is one of the most popular all-ages touring music and extreme sports festivals in America. The tour will showcase multiple stages and music from Forever the Sickest Kids, Katy Perry and many more.
Kingwood
The Kingwood Civic Club also organizes the 4th of July activities, including the fishing rodeo, the bike judging contest and the parade.
Fishing Rodeo
The fishing rodeo is from 6-8am and is held at the Foster's Mill ponds at the corner of Kingwood Drive & Forest Garden. Kids age 15 and younger are invited to bring their fishing gear to the ponds and compete for trophies in different categories. No registration is required.
Bike Judging Contest
The bike-judging contest will begin at 8am at Creekwood Middle School, located at the corner of West Lake Houston Parkway and Sandy Forks. Decorate your bike to impress the judges and you may just win a trophy! No registration is required.
Kingwood 4th of July Parade
Float judging will begin at 9am and the parade will kick off at 10am from Creekwood Middle School on Sandy Forks. The parade will end when all participants reach Kingwood High School. http://www.kingwoodcivicclub.org/

Annual Fourth of July Fireworks Display at Katy Mills Mall
An evening fireworks display is held at dusk at the Katy Mills Mall. This family event is free to the public. Picnic or tailgate in the parking lot. Fireworks will be at 9 pm. http://ci.katy.tx.us/family.html
Missouri City
24th Annual July 4th Celebration
Missouri City's newest park is the new location for this year's spectacular 4th of July celebration. The City's 24th Annual July 4th Celebration will be held at Buffalo Run Park. This year's celebration features many new activities and music by Hamilton Loomis. Wheels of Freestyle will be demonstrating their skills on BMX bikes in the parking area and Texas Snakes and more will be on hand with non-venomous snakes geared toward kids to see and touch. Other attractions this year include face painters, balloon artists, magicians, a stilt walker and, of course, lots of good food, fun and a spectacular fireworks display. http://www.missouricitytx.gov/

4th Fest City of Pasadena

Sugarland
Red White and Bluefest
This is the 23rd Annual Celebration of Independence Day celebrate from 5 – 10 pm in Oyster Creek Park. Come out and join the fun with live entertainment as one of Houston's Hottest Party Bands, "Password", rocks the stage with their energy infused sounds. Elvis and the Motown Girls will also visit the City of Sugar Land for their American classic performance. This year there will be an additional children's stage with live entertainment, including a live snake show, magic show, cultural dance performances and much more. Join the fun with bounce houses, patriotic clowns, stilt walkers and delicious food from local vendors.
